Southwestern Illinois College is located in Belleville, Ill. near St Louis. Blue Storm Head Coach Jay Harrington informed JucoJunction today that David Wiegmann will play at the University of Albany next season after a recent visit to the school.

Wiegmann averaged 12.4 points and 5.2 rebounds this season for the 21-9 Blue Storm. The Blue Storm play in the rugged GRAC Conference of Region 24 in Southern Illinois.
Wiegmann now joins fellow teammate Jordan Coleman at the NCAA Division One level next season.
