Summer action photos

The action started Friday in St Charles, M.O. on the campus of Lindenwood University. JucoJunction was in attendance to see over 120 kids play their way into college scholarships down the road. Cory Dixon (pictured on front) has taken a detour after leaving Northwestern State University. Dixon attended Collin County Community College this past fall and now will journey off to Hutchinson Community College this coming fall. The Argyle, T.X. native will be a third year player for the Blue Dragons.

Tyrel Edwards got off to a quick start for his team today. Edwards played last season at Vincennes University and will not suit up at Olney Central College in Olney, I.L. The combo forward averaged 12.3 points and 3.5 rebounds per game last season for the Trail Blazers.
Monty Wilson teamed up with his college mate Donovan Johnson. The duo will play this season for the Wabash Valley College Warriors and legendary head coach Dan Sparks.
Wilson redshirted this past season after transferring from nearby Vincennes University. The Decatur, I.L. native averaged 14 points per game as a freshman.
Josh Amaya played this past season at Phoenix College. Amaya told JucoJunction Friday he will look to sign with Howard College in Big Spring, T.X. for next season. The 6-foot-11-inch 250 pound specimen averaged 10.1 points per game for PC.
