"I have committed to South Dakota State University for next year" said Deondre Parks. Parks, a guard from Iowa Lakes Community College, visited the campus last month.
Parks saw interest from Drake, Albany and North Dakota State this fall.

Parks averaged 15.3 ppg, 5.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists last season for the Lakers. The Lakers, a NJCAA D2 program in Estherville, IA finished last season at 26-8 under head coach Troy Larson.
Parks shot 49% (188-385) from the floor and 41% (49-119) from three point range last season. "Deondre really has a great knack to score the ball" said JucoJunction
