Sheridan College Head Coach Steve Smiley informed JucoJunction today that Tate Stensgaard will continue his college basketball career at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Ill. next fall.

The power forward will have three years to play for the Leathernecks after redshirting last season for the Generals.
"Tate really connected with the players and his host player during the trip and also connected with the staff at WIU. Tate thought in the end WIU was the perfect fit for him," said Smiley.
Stensgaard is a Rapid City, S.D. native.
