Swamp Foxes duo making strides

Waycross College made school history last season by going to the NJCAA National Tourney in Hutchinson, Kan. The Swamp Foxes are coached by Cory Baldwin and are currently 15-6 on the season after a big wing last night versus conference foe South Georgia Tech College.

Coach Baldwin informed JucoJunction today that Darius Tookes and Adam McLeod have recently started getting some good looks from NCAA D1 programs.
Tookes is a small forward from Lithonia, Ga. He is averaging 14.3 points and 7 rebounds per contest this season for the Swamp Foxes. "Darius is a great ball defender and plays with a great motor at all times on the floor," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Tookes is receiving interest from South Carolina, Washington State, Florida Atlantic, Jacksonville State, Tennessee Tech, Western Carolina and Georgia Southern University according to Baldwin.
McLeod is a shooting guard from Fairburn, Ga. has who has received interest this spring from Kennesaw State, Gardner-Webb and Quinnipac University according to Baldwin. McLeod is scoring 11.8 points per game this season for the Swamp Foxes.
