T-Birds decide

New Mexico Junior College assistant coach James Miller informed JucoJunction today that point guard Marvin Binney will play at Duquesne University next fall. Binney will have three years to play at the Atlantic 10 school.

Binney redshirted his first year at New Mexico Junior College when he arrived from Canada via Progressive Christian Academy in Maryland.
Binney averaged 5.4 points and 3 assists per game this season for the T-Birds. The T-Birds finished the season at 23-9 which three of those losses came to the eventual national champions South Plains College.
Ryan Okwudibonye will head back west to his home State of California. Okwudibonye will at Sacramento State University next year.
Okwudibonye, a power forward, hails from Huntington Beach, Calif. averaged 5.7 points per game this season for the T-Birds.
