T-Birds Make Decisions

New Mexico Junior College Head Coach Chris Tifft informed JucoJunction.com today that two of his players have signed on with NCAA programs for next season. JucoJunction has the latest on these two Thunderbird players in this article on your source for junior college basketball recruiting.
Armond Battle has had a change of plans and now will attend Wright State University in Dayton, OH according to Tifft. Battle from Plymouth, MN will have three years to play for the Raiders in the Horizon League. Battle had planned on going to IUPUI but had to take care of some academic work this summer.

Battle started off his career at the University of Tulsa where he redshirted. Battle averaged 9.6 ppg and 3.8 rebounds this season for the Thunderbirds who play in Region 5 (West Texas).
Nick Waddell hails from the Windy City of Chicago, IL. Waddell played his freshman season at John A Logan College in Carterville,IL. "Nick has signed with Grand Valley State University in Michigan for next season" said Tifft.
Waddell averaged 10.9 ppg and 5.3 rebounds this year while shooting 53% (121-288) from the floor for the Thunderbirds.
