Talented point guard going Division Two
Tim Downs, had a solid season as a freshman last season at Palm Beach Community College in Florida last season. Downs, a point guard, has signed on the dotted line for next season. JucoJunction has the latest on where the Greenville, SC native will play next season.
Downs, (SO) 5-foot-9 (190), has signed with Clayton State University in Georgia for next season. Clayton State is a NCAA Division Two program that plays in the Peach Belt Conference.
Downs finished his high school career at Prince Avenue Prep in Pickens, SC. This season Downs is off to a 17 ppg clip for Palm Beach CC. Tim averaged 14 ppg and 6 assists last season as a freshman.
