Tallahassee prospects still wide open

The Tallahassee Community College Eagles will have their work cut out for them the next few weeks. Region 8 and The Panhandle Conference is so tough night in and night out. The Eagles are currently (20-4) and one game behind Chipola College and just one game in front of Okaloosa-Walton. Head coach Eddie Barnes had a chance to update JucoJunction with what colleges are recruiting his sophomores.
Dustin Scott: (SO) 6-foot-8 (215) from Jamestown, SC. Scott is in his 3rd year at TCC coming from Timberland HS in South Carolina.

"Dustin is just a wall of consistency," said Barnes.
The pre season number one player in the country, according to JucoJunction, visited South Florida and Virginia Commonwealth back in the fall. Scott's recruitiment is wide open now heading into the stretch run of the season. Louisville, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Clemson and Florida are all keeping close eyes on Dustin. He is averaging 13.7 ppg and 7.6 rebounds this season.
Andy Buechert: (SO) 6-foot-9 (228) from Germany. Buechert, the one time UMASS commitment, is now open in the recruiting process. Andy didn't sign in the fall
with UMASS. Buechert missed 15 games this season with a stress fracture. Andy has returned to the Eagles lineup by averaging 4.6 ppg.
"Andy is a great slip and pop guy who has good skills," said Barnes.
Miami (FL)(Offered), South Florida and Georgia are watching him now.
Antwon Lawrence: (SO) 6-foot-5 (190) from Baltimore, MD. The 4/3 man is getting 7.5 ppg and 4.4 rebounds a night for TCC.
"Antwon is a really deceptive player with good fluid motion," said coach Barnes.
Lawrence is receiving interest from Gardner-Webb.
Andre McMillian: (SO) 6-foot-2 (185) from Philadelphia, PA.
"Andre is just a true shooter," said Barnes.
McMillian played his high school ball at Murrell Dobbins Area HS in Philadelphia. Andre is a solid 2 guard that's shooting 45% (56-123) from three-point range this season. McMillian is averaging 10.5 ppg for the Eagles. Gardner-Webb (offered), Arkansas
Little Rock are watching Andre this season.
Maurice Arnold: (SO) 6-foot-7 from Monticello, FL.
Arnold is an interesting story. Maurice had signed out of high school with Albany State (GA) for football but, never attended classes. Arnold was at Florida A&M 2004-2005 and at Tallahassee all last season as a student. This is his first year of playing college ball. The walk-on is a D1 athlete.
"Maurice has a great demeanor on the floor," said the coach.
Arnold is a very quick 4 man that takes charges and finishes around the basket Maurice must go the D2/NAIA route after this season. He will have two years left to play at the next level.
Jermaine Dixon: (FR) 6-foot-3 (185) from Baltimore, MD. Dixon is the brother of former Maryland player Juan Dixon. Jermaine prepped at Maine Central Institute last season under the last name of Cooper. The former wing player is now running the point for the Eagles.
"Jermaine is a scoring point guard that you have to guard on the perimeter," said Barnes.
Dixon can really to the rim with his quick first step. Jermaine is leading TCC at 15.2 ppg and 4.4 rebounds a night.
