Team focus: Aiken Tech

Aiken Tech College in Aiken, SC is looking to return to Hutchinson, KS for the National Tournament again this season. NJCAA Region 10 members Brunswick Community College and Spartanburg Methodist College have other ideas. Head coach Bruce Capers is in his fourth year leading the Knights and is currently 77-33 in his career at Aiken Tech.
Marquise Washington: (SO) 6-foot-6 (190) from Charleston, SC. Washington played with Georgia Perimeter at the National tournament a few years back. Washington attended Coffeyville Community College after leaving Georgia Perimeter. Marquise never played for the Ravens of Coffeyville Community College. Washington is averaging a double-double this season 11 ppg and 10.4 rebounds this season.

"Marquise is a freak athlete and great in the open floor and playing up tempo," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.
Gabriel Robinson: (SO) 6-foot-3 (190) from North Augusta, SC. The combo guard is averaging 9.7 ppg, 7.3 assists and 5.3 rebounds for the Knights this season. Robinson prepped at the Patterson School (NC) out of high school.
"Gabriel can cause matchup problems on the floor. He played huge for us last season and has played where he left off from last season," said Capers.
Ashton Wine: (SO) 6-foot-5 (250) from North Charleston, SC.
"Wine is a undersized post player that draws a lot of contact in the paint," said Swanson.
Ashton is averaging 10 ppg and 8.2 rebounds for the Knights.
"Ashton has developed a shot out to three-point range and can score off the dribble," said
Capers.
Derrick King: (SO) 6-foot-4 (220) from Hinesville, GA. King is a 3rd year player that redshirted last season for the Knights. King is currently averaging 13.2 ppg
and 11 rebounds.
"Derrick has been a man in the post on both ends of the floor this season," said Capers.
Greg Thomas: (SO) 6-foot-0 (180) from Savannah, GA.
"Greg has improved a lot from last season," said Capers.
Thomas is averaging 10.4 ppg this season.
Look for the Knights to have a dog fight this season with the other Region 10 opponents.
