Team Focus: Arkansas-Fort Smith

JucoJunction had a chance to touch base with Arkansas-Fort Smith Head coach Josh Newman recently to get update on his players. Arkansas-Fort Smith (21-3) and ranked 14th in the nation will be going to NCAA Division 2 in a few seasons. The Lions have plenty of talent on this year's squad.
Chris Echols: (SO) 6-foot-6 (225) from Blytheville, AR. Rutgers, Ball State, Georgia State and Tulsa are showing interest in the skilled 4/3 man.

Dominique Johnson: (SO) 5-foot-10 (150) from Kansas City, MO. Northern Iowa, SMU, UAB and Western Illinois are showing interest in Johnson. Dominique played at UMKC last year as a freshman.
Jacolby Hardiman: (SO) 6-foot-4 (195)from Milwaukee, WI. Northern Iowa, Texas State, Murray State and Eastern Illinois are showing interest in the physical tough wing player. Hardiman usually guards the best player night in and night out.
Andy Lee, (FR) 6-foot-3 (195) and Malcolm Kirkland, (FR) 6-foot-7 (250), are both academic qualifiers. Lee is getting interest from Weber State, Utah State
and Arkansas-Little Rock. Kirkland is hearing from Georgia State, New Orleans and Baylor. Kirkland had committed out of high school to UTEP.
