"Strickland is a tweener that plays with a lot of energy. He usually defends the best offensive player on the other team every night we play," said St John.
Jerusalem is averaging 7 ppg and 4.7 steals this season.
Nigel Byam: (SO) 6-foot-7 (210) from Brooklyn, NY. Byam never played high school basketball. Maryland Baltimore County recently called on the center. Nigel is averaging 14.7 ppg and 9.5 rebounds on the season while shooting 63.8% (122-191) from the floor. Nigel recently had 25 points versus Redlands Community College.
Oskar Ernsteins: (SO) 6-foot-4 (205) from Latvia. Ernsteins is getting 7.1 ppg and shooting 45.1 % (37-82) from three-point range.
"Oskar pops off screens and when he gets those feet set he could be deadly," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.
Calen Parks: (SO) 5-foot-10 (175) from Midwest City, OK.
"Calen is a selective shooter and a point guard that really understands the game very well," said St. John.
Calen is averaging 9.1 ppg and 7.3 assists this season. He also has a 3.5 assists to turnover ration on the season.
All the sophomores are set to graduate on time and are looking for college recruitment.
