Team Focus: Garden City CC

Garden City Community College Head coach Kris Baumann has the Broncbusters currently at (17-9) on the season. The Broncbusters play in the rugged Jayhawk Western Conference. JucoJunction had a opportunity to touch base with Baumann on his players' recruitment.
Corey Claitt: (SO) 6-foot-1 (180) from West Palm Beach, FL. Claitt played last season at Jacksonville University where he averaged 9 ppg.

"Corey is a great two guard who can really get in the paint and score the ball," said Baumann.
Claitt is getting 17.7 ppg, 5.1 rebounds and 2.4 steals a game for the Broncbusters this season. Corey is getting interest from Western Kentucky, South Carolina State and Southeast Missouri State this spring.
Tyrone Flemming: (SO) 6-foot-7 (210) from Waterbury, CT.
"Tyrone is an athletic combo forward that's very active on the floor," said Baumann.
Murray State-offered, Southeast Missouri State-offered and Charlotte are showing interest in Flemming. Tyrone is averaging 10.6 ppg and 7 rebounds this season.
Tim Brown: (FR) 6-foot-8 (240) from Springfield, MA.
"Tim can leave this season with three years left to play," said Baumann.
Brown played at the Winchedon School (MA) a few years back.
"Tim is a bit raw on the offensive end but really rebounds the ball well on both ends," said Baumann.
UMASS and Drexel have called on Brown this spring. Brown is averaging 6 ppg and 5.3
rebounds on the season.
Sterling Link: (SO) 6-foot-9 (245) from Colorado Springs, CO. Link is 26 years old. Sterling played his freshman season last year at McCook Community College (NE).
"Sterling has a great body and can really score the ball on the block," said Baumann.
Sterling is getting 9 ppg, 5.8 rebounds and 2.3 blocks a outing this season. Northern Arizona has shown interest in Link this season.
Jordan Ragan: (SO) 5-foot-11 (190) from Las Vegas, NV. Ragan signed with New Mexico State out of high school back in the 2005-2006 season. Jordan greyshirted as a part time student that year and then played last fall 2006 at Colorado Northwestern College.
"Jordan is our point guard and he is a very talented on the offensive end," said Baumann.
Ragan is getting 10.8 ppg and 3.7 assists a outing for the Broncbusters.
Chris Roquemore, (FR) 6-foot-8 (215), and Alex Davis, (SO) 6-foot-7 (220), have both been dismissed from the program. Roquemore played in 13 games where he averaged 9.8 ppg, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks before his dismissal. Davis was redshirting this season and has since transferred to Frank Phillips College in Borger, TX.
