Team focus: Georgia Perimeter

The Georgia Perimeter College are struggling this season with just an 11-9 record. The Jaguars did lose three kids at the break this season for academics including Justin Ramsey, (SO) 6-foot-9 (262) from Norfolk, VA. Ramsey, a third year player who transferred in from East Carolina University, has to work on his academics. Ramsey was averaging 3 ppg in 9 games played for the Jaguars this fall.
Jacquiese Holcombe: (SO) 6-foot-7 (205) from College Park, GA. Georgia State, UNLV and South Florida have shown heavy interest in Holcombe this season. Holcombe a third year player sat out last season as a redshirt and played on the 2005-2006 that played in the National tourney in Hutchinson, KS.

"Jacquiese has had 5 double doubles in his last 10 games for us," said Georgia Perimeter assistant coach David Dennis.
Holcombe is averaging 15.6 ppg and 4.2 rebounds this season for the Jaguars.
Nathaniel Mitchell: (SO) 5-foot-9 (175) from Toronto, Canada.
"Mitchell will take a charge from anyone," said Dennis.
The tough-nosed point guard is averaging 4.1 ppg and 3.2 assists this season. Mitchell is a very solid student in the classroom.
Paul Boea: (SO) 6-foot-7 (200) from Syracuse, NY.
"Paul is our glue guy on the floor. He is a very coachable player," said Dennis.
Boea is currently at 3.4 ppg this season.
"Paul can really set screens and moves around quite well on the floor," said
JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.
Chaun Tinney: (SO) 6-foot-1 (190) from Decatur, GA. The point guard played his freshman season at Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg, IL.
"Chaun really is a pure point guard on the floor. He is always thinking pass first, shoot second mentality," said Dennis.
Vincent Banks: (FR) 6-foot-4 (185) from Atlanta. Banks is currently leading the Jaguars in scoring at 15.6 ppg and 4.2 rebounds. The onetime Cincinnati signee has really seemed to thinks back on track after leaving Cincinnati a few years back. Banks signed with Cincinnati coming out of prep school while attending Laurinburg Institute back under the Chris Chaney era.
The Jaguars look to turn it up a notch with the last month of the regular season winding down.
