Team Focus: Hill College

Hill College is located in Hillsboro, TX and the Rebels are guided by head coach Swede Trenkle. Trenkle comes from quite a family tree of coaches with his brothers and father all being coach's in the college game. The Rebels are currently (12-13) on the season.
Earlier today, we profiled two talented freshmen on the roster. Here is a look at some more talent at the school.

Roger Eiland: (SO) 6-foot-5 (215) from Grand Prairie, TX.
"Roger has turned in 14 double-double games this season. He really the ability to play inside or out," said Trenkle.
Portland State, Texas State, Cal-State Northridge and MiddleTennessee State are showing interest in the 3/4 man.
"Roger can guard the 1-5 positions on the floor," said Trenkle.
Eiland is getting 11.5 ppg and 7 rebounds a night for the Rebels.
Deandre Mays: (SO) 6-foot-1 (165) from Dallas, TX. Mays, a combo guard, is a third year player. Deandre started off at Navarro College.
"Deandre can score the ball very well and can also distribute it to his teammates," said Trenkle.
Texas Pan American, Arkansas-Little Rock and Eastern Illinois are courting Mays this spring. Deandre is averaging 12.9 ppg and 4.2 assists on the season.
Jacob Kelsey: (SO) 6-foot-3 (170) from Cleburne, TX.
"Jacob brings a lot of emotion to the floor. He can really score the ball in many different ways," said Trenkle.
Kelsey, a shooting guard, is averaging 12.1 ppg this season.
Chris Goss: (SO) 6-foot-5 (220) from Waco, TX.
"Chris takes about two charges a game for us. He is a glue guy for any team that he plays on," said Trenkle.
The Rebels are hoping to finish the season off strong and head into tournament play.
