Team Focus: Irvine Valley

The Irvine Valley College Lasers are currently (25-4) on the season and (9-2) in conference play sitting one game behind league leader Fullerton College. The state playoffs start next week in California. Irvine Valley College head coach Jerry Hernandez had a chance to touch base with JucoJunction today on his players' recruitment.
La'Shard Anderson: (FR) 6-foot-0, signed early with Boise State. Anderson will have three years to play at the next level. La'Shard is currently averaging 9.8 ppg and 3.3 assists this season.

Bryce Webster: (SO) 6-foot-9 (240) from Mineapolis, MN. Webster signed early with Utah State University. Webster played last season at the University of Minnesota. Bryce is currently getting 11.5 ppg and 6.2 rebounds a night for the Lasers.
Kashif Watson: (SO) 6-foot-4 (190) from Las Vegas, NV. Watson played his freshman season at Indian Hills Community College in Iowa. Kashif is currently averaging 13.3 ppg, 5.5 rebounds and 2.9 assists while shooting 53.3% (136-255) from the floor. Utah State, Boise State, Hawaii, Fresno State, Colorado State, San Jose State, Texas A&M and San Diego State are all following Watson this spring.
Blake Wallace: (SO) 6-foot-6 (220) from Anaheim, CA. Wallace played at Pepperdine University as a freshman where he averaged 4.7 ppg. Blake is getting a lot of attention this spring. UC-Irvine, Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, Cal State-Northridge, Weber State, Fullerton, Boise State, Tulsa and Albany along with other schools are starting to make calls on the forward.
