Team Focus: Lon Morris

The Lon Morris College Bearcats have been struggling this season compared to seasons in the past. Most touted sophomore Derrick Moore has been ruled ineligible for the spring semester. Moore, 6-foot-6 (215) from Dallas, TX, was leading the Bearcats in scoring at 15.3 ppg, 8.7 rebounds while shooting 63% (75-119) from the floor. Here is some news on those Bearcats still taking the court:
Mark Dorsey: (SO) 6-foot-5 (200) from Inglewood, CA. Mark is averaging 9.5 ppg and 7.2 rebounds for the Bearcats this season. Dorsey played in just a handful of games as a freshman.

"Mark is playing the combo forward position for us now with the departure of Derrick," said assistant coach Rick Dotson.
Michael Morris: (SO) 6-foot-0 (170) from Burlington, NJ. The left-handed point guard has been up and down this season. Morris is currently at 8.6 ppg and 3.9 assists.
Michael Marsh: (SO) 6-foot-4 (205) from Cheekpowaga, NY. Marsh played his freshman season at Hagerstown Community College in Maryland. Marsh, a small forward, is getting 5.6 ppg and 3.5 rebounds this season.
Eugene Davis: (SO) 6-foot-0 (165) from Hyattsville, MD.
"Eugene has been a streaky shooter this season for us," said Dotson.
Eugene is at 9.2 ppg for the Bearcats
Ridas Pulkauninkas: (FR) 6-foot-6 (180) from Lithuania.
"Ridas has a great motor and a great skill level," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.
The small forward is averaging 13.6 ppg this season. Weber State has shown early interest in him this season.
Mirza Ahmetbasic: (FR) 6-foot-4 (180) from Bosnia.
"Mirza is still adjusting to the American style of play. He really gets his teammates involved in the offense," said Swanson.
Mirza is currently at 10.5 ppg and 3 assists.
