Team Focus: Los Medanos Mustangs

The Los Medanos College Mustangs are currently (18-7) on the season. The Bay Area school in California has a very talented sophomore in Ben Guillory and a very big post player in (FR) A.J. Matlock.
Guillory, (SO) 6-foot-4 (175), is from Opelousas, LA. Ben is currently averaging 18.7 ppg, 6.3 rebounds and 2 steals for the Mustangs.

"Ben is an extremely athletic off guard. He is a big time shooter who has hit 41.5% (80-193) this season," said head coach Derek Domenichelli.
Guillory has made 122 three-pointers over the last two seasons at Los Medanos.
Guillory has scored 760 career points in 55 games played at Los Medanos College while also recording 117 block shots. Cal State Fullerton, Portland, UC-Riverside- offered, California-Irvine-offered and Southern Utah-offered are recruiting him. Ben visited Southern Utah back in the fall semester according to Domenichelli.
Matlock, (FR) 7-foot-1 (295) from Woodbridge, VA.
"A.J. has dropped down to 295 pounds after starting the school year at 370 pounds. A.J. has completely changed his body. He has a wide body with good hands and soft touch," said Domenichelli.
Marcus Balinton: (SO) 6-foot-6 from Antioch, CA.
"Marcus was an all-conference player for us last season," said Domenichelli.
Marcus is currently averaging 14.7 ppg and 9.8 rebounds this season after averaging 12 ppg and 8 rebounds as a freshman.
"Marcus will have to go the NAIA route after this season," said Domenichelli.
Thomas Frames: (SO) 6-foot-0 shooting guard.
"Frames is a very athletic two guard who can really get to the rack," said Domenichelli.
Thomas sat out last season and played in 2005-2006 with the Mustangs. He is currently averaging 8.6 ppg and 3.5 rebounds on the season.
