Team Focus: Motlow State CC

Motlow State College Head coach Bobby Steinburg is in his second season running the Bucks. The #2 seeded Bucks are currently (26-4) entering Region tourney play at Walters State Community College versus Simmons College of Louisville, KY. The 26 wins are a school record for the Bucks. JucoJunction had a chance to touch base with coach Steinburg on some of his sophomores' recruitment.

Tyree Evans: (SO) 6-foot-3 (210) from Richmond, VA.

"Maryland, Kansas State, Florida State, Charlotte and Mississippi State," said Steinburg of his list.

Evans is averaging 21.4 ppg, 5.1 rebounds while shooting 44% (107-243) from three point range this season. Evans played his freshman season at Butler County Community College in Kansas.

Frank Henry-Ala: (SO) 6-foot-5 (205) from Pasadena, CA.

"Frank is getting a ton of interest from Charlotte, IP-Fort Wayne, UT-San Antonio, Drake, Indiana State, Troy and Murray State," said Steinburg.

Henry-Ala is currently averaging 9.9 ppg, 10.4 rebounds and 2.8 steals this season.

"Frank can really stuff a stat sheet," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.

Anthony Sally: (SO) 6-foot-2 (185) from Richmond, VA. Sally played his freshman season at Tallahassee Community College where he averaged 5 ppg. Anthony, a pure point guard, is having a great season this year for the Bucks. He is currently getting 7.9 ppg, 7.6 assists, 6.3 rebounds and 3.4 steals a outing. East Carolina and Troy University are following the point guard this spring.

Demarco Stepter: (SO) 6-foot-7 (210) from Memphis, TN. Stepter is getting looks from Southeast Missouri State, UT-San Antonio, Western Kentucky and Murray State according to Steinburg.

"Demarco is a deceptive athlete with great hands. He can knock down the 12 footer," said Swanson.

Stepter is averaging 12.2 ppg and 11.3 rebounds this season while shooting 56% (147-263) from the floor.
