Team Focus: Northeastern Oklahoma AM

The Golden Norse of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M are currently (22-5) on the season and are in a battle for the conference championship in Bi-State Conference in Region 2 (Oklahoma-Arkansas). Head coach Dustin Grover has his team play very good ball at the right time of the season. JucoJunction had an opportunity to talk to coach Grover on his roster.
Dominique Gaines: (SO) 6-foot-3 (200) from Tullahassee, OK. Gaines, a combo guard, signed with Oral Roberts out of high school but failed to qualify academically.

"Dominique has a very good first step. He is really determined to get to the basket and score it," said Grover.
The left-handed guard is currently averaging 15.1 ppg and 4.2 rebounds while shooting 50.2% (123-245) from the floor this season. Gaines has scored 883 career points over 52 games played at NEO A&M. Dominique averaged 18.5 ppg as a freshman.
Cicero Gonzaga: (SO) 6-foot-7 (205) from Brazil. Gonzaga is a third year player that sat out last season. Gonzaga played his freshman season at the Miami, OK school back in 2005-2006 where he averaged 9.6 ppg and 3.8 rebounds for the Golden Norse.
"Gonzaga a small forward is a long and wiry athlete that can score inside and out," said Grover.
Cicero is currently at 11.4 ppg, 7 rebounds on the season while shooting 53.2% (98-184) from the floor. Gonzaga is wide open in his recruitment this season.
Kenneth Clayton: (SO) 6-foot-7 (215) from Houston, TX. Clayton is freshman season at Lee College in Baytown, TX.
"Kenneth is a small forward that is long and athletic," said Grover.
Clayton has been struggling this season for the Golden Norse. Kenneth is currently averaging 6.9 ppg and 3 rebounds on the year. Clayton will have to go the D2-NAIA route.
Delawn Armwood: (SO) 6-foot-2 (190) from Mount Olive, NC. Armwood played last season at South Plains College (TX).
"Delawn plays the off guard position and has a nice strong frame and can shoot the ball with good range," said Grover.
Armwood is currently averaging 3.6 ppg this season.
