Team focus: Southeastern CC

Southeastern Community College Head coach Terry Carroll took over the reins this season at the West Burlington, IA school. Carroll a former head coach at University of Denver and a assistant coach at Iowa State under Larry Eustachy. Carroll is no stranger to Blackhawks as he won two National Championships back to back in the late 90's at Indian Hills Community College. The Blackhawks are off to a 4-5 start and JucoJunction had a chance to touch base with assistant coach Jon Grzannich on a few of the Blackhawk players today.
Roberto Mafra: (SO) 6-foot-10 (235) from Brazil.

"Roberto has really been solid for us this season. He has made great progress from last season and he must continue to work hard," said Grzanich.
Murray State, Wichita State, Idaho State and Indiana State have all shown interest on the 4/5 man this fall. Mafra is off to a great start this season. He is currently averaging 16.3 ppg and 7.7 rebounds while shooting 63.4% (52-82) from the floor.
Cecil Stinson: (SO) 5-foot-11 (180) from Montclair, NJ.
Stinson, a point guard, played last season at Blinn College in Texas. Cecil averaged 13 ppg last season for the Buccaneers. Stinson is currently averaging 9.3 ppg, 4.2 rebounds and 4 assists on the season.
"We need Cecil need to be more consistent on the offensive end every night. He really pressures the ball well and competes at all times," said Grzanich.
C.J. Wilkerson: (FR) 6-foot-4 (190) from Oxford, NC.
Wilkerson is an academic qualifier with 3 years left to play after this season.
"The left handed combo forward is still trying to make the adjustment to the college game," said Grzanich.
Wilkerson is getting 7.7 ppg for the Blackhawks this season.
