Team Focus: Southeastern Illinois College

Southeastern Illinois College head coach Todd Franklin has is Falcons flying high this season heading into the Christmas holiday. The Falcons are currently (11-0) under this season and ranked in the Top 5 in the country. JucoJunction had a chance to touch base with coach Franklin today on some his sophomores.
Monie Hudson, (SO) 6-foot-0 (185) from Bowling Green, KY, is a point guard receiving interest from SEC and Conference USA schools according to Franklin.

"Monie is a very strong point guard with a calm demeanor. He has the ability to change speeds and make big shots while being deceptively quick for his size," said Franklin.
Hudson is averaging 13.4 ppg and 3.4 rebounds this season.
Austin Hill, (SO) 6-foot-1 (205) from Covington, KY.
"Hill is an off guard that is strong and has a great first step. Austin has really improved his shot and is good at getting to the hole," said Franklin.
Hill is at 12.8 ppg and 3.1 rebounds this season.
Mohamed Ntumba, (SO) 6-foot-7 (230) from Congo, Africa, is 23 years old and will have to go the D2/NAIA route because of clock issues. Ntumba is a solid mid major player if he had the chance to go Division One.
"Mohamed has a great frame and is always competing on the floor on both ends. Mo is a monster in the paint," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.
Ntumba is getting 13.9 ppg and 8.7 rebounds a game this season.
Mamadou Seck, (FR) 6-foot-6 (195) from Dakar, Senegal, came to Southeastern Illinois College after arriving in the USA via Seattle,WA. Seck signed with the University of Seattle but landed in Harrisburg, IL this past August after he failed to qualify academically. Seck played on the Senegal National Team and is currently 21 years old.
"Mamadou is a left-handed wing player with a 7'2 wingspan," said Franklin.
