Team Focus: Spartanburg Methodist

Spartanburg Methodist College has one game left before the Pioneers break for the holiday break. The Pioneers 8-2 will play Region rival Brunswick Community College Supply, NC on Tuesday at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC. JucoJunction> had a chance to touch base with Spartanburg Methodist College head coach Rob Burke on some of his sophomores recruitment.
Kendrick Robinson: (SO) 6-foot-1 (174) from Goose Creek, SC. Robinson, a point guard nicknamed "Goose," leads the Pioneers offense. Kendrick was an academic qualifier coming out of high school.

"Kendrick has been a starter since arriving on the SMC campus. He is a great leader and also a great person," said Burke.
Kendrick took an official visit earlier this season to Wofford University (offered) which is located across town in Spartanburg. Middle Tennessee State, Winston-Salem State, North Carolina A&T and Gardner-Webb have all shown interest in the point guard. Robinson is currently averaging 12 ppg and 4 rebounds for the Pioneers.
Brendon Knox: (SO) 6-foot-10 (214) from Georgetown, SC. Knox is currently averaging 13 ppg, 7 rebounds and 4 blocked shots for the Pioneers.
"Knox can really change a game with his ability to alter and challenge shots on both ends of the floor," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.
Charleston Southern-offered, Troy, Morehead State, UNC-Wilmington, Middle Tennessee
State and Western Carolina have shown interest in the center. Knox only played the first semester for the Pioneers as a freshman.
Chad Dewitt: (SO) 6-foot-3 (187) from Darlington, SC. Dewitt is a shooting guard averaging 10 ppg this season for the Pioneers. Chad started 18 games as a freshman for the Pioneers. Troy and Centenary have shown interest in Dewitt this fall.
Ricky Mabry: (SO) 6-foot-4 (180) from Greensboro, NC. Mabry played his freshman season at Iowa Western Community College. Mabry, originally from New York City, played his prep school ball at New Horizons Christian in Danville, VA. Mabry has had to work out some off the court issues before playing with the Pioneers. Mabry is currently averaging 12.4 ppg on the season. The shooting guard is wide open in the recruiting process.
