"Fred is a long athletic player. He has good range from 15-18 feet," said assistant coach Eric Peterson.
Western Illinois, Portland State, Illinois-Chicago and Murray State are showing interest in Woods this season along with division two schools. Fred is currently averaging 13.2 ppg, 6.8 rebounds and 2.1 blocks. Woods is a 2/3 man.
Curtis Mitchell: (SO) 5-foot-9 (175) from Milwaukee, WI. Mitchell was a pre season all-American NJCAA player. Last season Mitchell averaged 14 ppg and 4.1 assists
for the Tetons.
"A lot of schools are overlooking Curtis because he is only 5'9. He puts a lot of time in the gym and his best attribute is creating a shot for himself as he is a scoring point guard," said Peterson.
UT-Pan American, Texas State and several Division Two schools are showing interest. This season Curtis is getting 12.6 ppg and 3.9 assists a night for the Tetons.
Ante Samodol: (SO) 6-foot-8 (230) from Germany. Samodol is a power forward who is getting 7.3 ppg, 3.5 rebounds and 57% from three-point range this season.
"Ante's best basketball is still in front of him. He has been consistent for us and has done exactly what we have asked him and also has stepped out and knocked down some perimeter shots for us," said Peterson.
Northwest Missouri State, Bemidji State and Alaska-Fairbanks are showing interest in the German this season.
Matt Heier: (SO) 6-foot-3 (180) from Ray, ND. Heier is a shooting guard who is getting 10.3 ppg this season for the Tetons.
"Matt has had one game this season where he has hit nine three pointers," said Peterson.
Matt averaged 10 ppg last season as a freshman.
Shane Duchsherer: (SO) 6-foot-5 (220) Minot, ND.
"Shane is our workhorse and our glue guy on the floor," Peterson said.
Shane is averaging 10.2 ppg and 8.5 rebounds on the season. He is receiving interest from various NAIA schools this spring.
