Teammates decide on future

Playing in the California Community College ranks sometimes your recruitment hits a snare. Two players from the same school will take their skills to the next level next season. Tony Gill and Ryan Salmonson both played at Cosumnes River Community College in Sacramento, Calif. this past season for head coach James Giacomazzi. "Tony is going to the University of Pacific while Ryan is heading to the University of North Dakota" said Giacomazzi.

Gill averaged 18.2 points and 10.1 rebounds this season for the 19-13 Hawks. Gill shot 54 percent (193-358) from the floor.
Salmonson will play in the Big Sky Conference while attending the University of North Dakota. Salmonson, who has only played the game for a short period of time, averaged 9.5 points and 5.3 rebounds per game this season.
"Ryan is a good athlete who can the floor and he still has yet to reach his potential," said Giacomazzi. "Ryan still has his best basketball in front of him down the road."
