Teammates go same direction

Two players off the Eastern Arizona College roster will play at the NCAA D2 route this coming fall according to Gila Monsters Head Coach Maurice Leitzke. A.J Adams and Michael MacKelvie will both go that direction to play.

Adams will attend Kentucky Wesleyan while MacKelvie will play at Alaska-Anchorage according to Leitzke.
Adams averaged 11.6 points and 6.7 rebounds this season. The Jeffersonville, Ind. native saw his production drop this season after averaging 16.5 points as a freshman.
"A.J is the type of kid you win games with. A.J is very active around the rim and quick on his feet while scoring in transition," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
MacKelvie averaged 10 points and 4.4 rebounds this season for the Gila Monsters. "Michael really has a good basketball 'IQ' and knows how to play the game very well," said Swanson.
MacKelvie hails from Wilsonville, Ore.
