Teammates stay together

"I and Gordon Ball have signed with Texas State University," Vonn Jones told JucoJunction today. "We really enjoyed the campus, the coaching staff and it's good to play with somebody I already know," said Jones.

Jones is a point guard from Saginaw, M.I. who helped the Seahawks get to the NJCAA National Tourney this past March for the first time in school history. Jones averaged 12.3 points and 7.5 assists per game this season for the 24-11 Seahawks.
Ball is a 4/5 man who hails from nearby Missouri City, T.X. The 6-foot-9 post man averaged 8.7 points and seven rebounds per game this season while shooting 53 percent from the floor for the Seahawks.
