Texan to the Windy City

The junior college basketball season opens up this week and one player from the Lone Star State decided to play his future basketball in the Windy City. Read more about this player right here on your source for junior college basketball recruiting news JucoJunction.
South Plains College assistant coach Hank Plona informed JucoJunction today that Forrest Robinson will play at DePaul University next season. Robinson visited the Big East Conference School this past weekend according to Plona.

Robinson played his freshman season at North Texas University. Robinson is a Range, Tex. native.
"Forrest had a great visit. He loved seeing Coach Purnell coach the team and the way he communicated with the players. Forrest is excited about going to DePaul University because he'll be coached and they have a need for a big than can stretch the floor," said Plona
Mississippi State, Bradley, St Louis and Tennessee Tech all showed interest in Robinson this fall according to Plona.
Robinson will look to help the Texans get back to NJCAA National Tourney again this season. The Texans finished the season last year as the NJCAA National Champions and finished the season at 36-0 under
head coach Steve Green. The Texans have won two NJCAA National Tourneys under Green.
