Texas two-step

"Andre Berry has committed to the University of Rhode Island" said New Mexico Military Institute Assistant Coach Ralph Davis. Berry, an academic qualifier, will have three years to play for the Rams.
Berry, a West Hempstead, NY native played two years of basketball at the St Andrew's School in Rhode Island before heading to junior college last fall.

Berry averaged 10.9 ppg and 5.2 rebounds this past season while shooting 63% (110-175) from the floor.
Berry received interest from North Texas, UT San Antonio and Virginia Tech this spring.
New Mexico Military Institute finished the season at 15-12.
Andrew Poulter has found his way back to the NCAA D1 ranks. Poulter, a center at Western Texas College, has signed with IPFW for next season.
Poulter, a third year player, started his college at the University of Arkansas Little Rock before coming to Snyder, TX.
Poulter averaged 6.8 ppg and 5.2 rebounds this season for the Westerners.
Willie Conner had a great season at Odessa College in western Texas. Conner, a Chicago, IL native averaged 16.7 ppg and 3.6 rebounds after transferring in from Florida A&M University.
"Willie has signed with Buffalo" said Wranglers Assistant Coach Jeff Mailhot.
Conner, a shooting guard, shot 52% (170-329) from the floor. The Wranglers finished the season at 20-9.
