"Charles Mells will play at Arkansas Tech University next season," said Coastal Bend College assistant coach Colt Walker. Mells is ranked No. 104 in the 2012 JucoJunction Top 150 hails from Miami, Fla.

Mells will play at the NCAA D2 level and join forces with former Coastal Bend College assistant Chad Kline. Mells averaged 3.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.7 blocks this season for the Cougars.
Dre Evans is headed back to the NCAA D1 ranks this fall to Southland Conference member Southeast Louisiana according to former Blinn College Head Coach Tra Arnold. Arnold recently took the Odessa College (TX) for next season.
The point guard played his freshman campaign at Providence College.
Evans averaged 8.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists this season for the Blinn College Buccaneers. Evans joins fellow teammates Titus Rubles (Cincinnati) and Joel Wright (Texas State) at the division one ranks next fall.
