Brandon Thompson started his college career at Arizona State University before landing at South Plains College this past fall. Thompson will now take his game to Long Island University next season according to Texas Head Coach Steve Green. Thompson averaged 10.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3 assists per game this season for the 17-13 Texans. Thompson also received interest from Campbell University this spring before deciding on LIU.

Cedric Martin will take his game to the PAC 10 Conference and the Utah Utes this spring. Martin a big point guard from Minneapolis, M.N. averaged 9.7 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists per game this season for the Rebels.

Rodney Milum is now the fourth member of Midland College to sign on with the NCAA D1 school for next fall. Milum will play at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. for next season. Milum is a guard from Houston, T.X.
