Butler is an Atlanta, GA native. He visited Colorado State this past weekend. Butler visited Mercer University a few weeks back.
Butler prepped out of high school at Queen City Prep in Charlotte, NC.
Last season he averaged 10.8 ppg and 3.9 rebounds. Butler shot 48% (133-275) from the floor.
The Rebels finished 32-4 and in 3rd place at the NJCAA National Tourney in Hutchinson, KS.
