"Mike Chandler has committed to SIU-Edwardsville" said Hill College Head Coach Swede Trenkle. That makes four players now from Hill College who have decided to commit in the fall semester.
Chandler originally from Georgia now resides in Killeen, TX. Chandler played his freshman season at Garden City Community College in Kansas before transferring to Hill College.

"Mike really enjoyed the coaches and the team. He thinks he will be a great fit for SIU-Edwardsville" said Trenkle.
SIU-Edwardsville plays in the Ohio Valley Conference. Just recently SIU-E added fellow junior college player Jake Newton to the mix for next season. Newton plays at Lincoln Trail College in Robinson, IL.
