Third Vincennes prospect moving on

The Vincennes University Blazers finished the season at 22-9 under first year head coach David Ragland. The Blazers now have three players who have decided on where they will be playing next fall. John Freeman (Southern Illinois) and Devon Archie (Iowa) have another teammate who has joined the club for next season at the division one level. DeAntre Jefferson, (SO) 6-foot-8 (230) from Bloomington, IL, visited the Mocs of Tennessee-Chattanooga this past weekend and walked away committing according to assistant coach Brian Davis.

"Coach Cabrera, who is a former VU player, did a great job of recruiting him. DeAntre should do very well in the Southern Conference and be a impact player for them," said Davis.
Jefferson averaged 13.4 ppg and 7.9 rebounds this past season. DeAntre played his freshman season at South Georgia Tech in Americus, GA.
Vincennes now has three players set for Division One this fall. The Blazers have a promising freshman back next season in JP Olukemi.
