Thompson: Decision Expected in Next 24 Hours
Ryan Thompson, a 6-6, 210 pound swingman from Western Nebraska C.C. in Scottsbluff, Neb., is expected to decide between his two finalists within the next 24 hours.
JUCO Junction caught up with WNCC Head Coach Trace Bevell on Monday night, and he told us that he expects a decision by Wednesday.

Thompson, who hails from Gold Coast, Australia, visited Connecticut and Hawaii last week.
"He enjoyed both of them," Bevell said. "The visits gave him a chance to see both ends of the spectrum."
"Storrs is a basketball town, so if he makes a decision based on basketball it will probably be UConn," Bevell continued. "Hawaii, of course, is the vacation capital of the world, and if he makes a decision based on the environment and quality of life, it could be Hawaii."
The versatile Thompson averaged 13.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and two assists per game in 2002-2003, helping the Cougars to a Region IX crown and appearance at last month's NJCAA Tournament in Kansas. He shot 47 percent from the field and 39 percent beyond the three point arc.
