Three more at Pensacola

The Pensacola College Pirates play in a very tough conference in the Panhandle conference. Three Pirates signed early back in the fall but, PJC still has three more players looking for homes.
Petras Balocka: (SO) 6-foot-8 (230) from Lithuania. Balocka played at East Tennessee State University last year where he saw action in 13 games. Petras prepped at Community Christian School in Atlanta, GA for coach Linzy Davis. Balocka is averaging 14.3 ppg and 10.8 rebounds on the season for the Pirates. Hawaii, SMU, Delaware, Cleveland State and Ole Miss are following the power forward this season.

George Erkvania: (SO) 6-foot-9 from Georgia Republic. Erkvania is a third year player that transferred in from Southeastern Community College in West Burlington, IA. Erkvania played for the Blackhawks in 2005-2006 where he 2.4 ppg. George redshirted last season at SCC.
"George has been injured this season for us. He has been very efficient with the pick and pop for us this season. He can step out and hit the 15 footer," said Pensacola Junior College assistant coach Andy Meneely.
George is averaging 3.3 ppg and 3 rebounds this season.
Miles Taylor: (SO) 6-foot-3 from Pensacola, FL. The quick footed forward is hearing from Bethune-Cookman, Middle Tennessee State and Northern Iowa. Taylor is averaging 13.4 ppg and 4.2 rebounds this season for the Pirates.
