Three more signings from first day

Kelvin Bright, (SO) 6-foot-5 (170), from Gaithersburg, MD, played his ball at Hagerstown Community College in Maryland this past season. Bright played his freshman season at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA.

"Bright, a 2/3 man, can really make plays and is very active on the floor," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.

Kelvin signed yesterday with Youngstown State University for next season.

Bright had received interest from Duquense, Western Carolina-offered, High Point, Delaware State-offered and Maryland Eastern Shore-offered. Kelvin was a first-team all-region selection. Bright averaged 24 ppg, 4.2 rebounds, 3 assists and 2.1 steals per outing this season and made honorable mention All-American.

JucoJunction has also learned that Kendall Russell, (SO) 6-foot-5 from Cloud County Community College, signed with Western Carolina and Marcus Carson, (SO) 6-foot-4 (190), has signed with Weber State. Carson played this past season at Paris Junior College after playing as a freshman at Southern Utah.
