Three sign from the Lone Star State

JucoJunction is staying busy all month long and today were able to confirm three more signings for the spring signing period. Read more about these signings in this article on your source for junior college basketball recruiting.
Nafis Richardson and Tre Nichols performed in the backcourt this past season at McLennan Community College in Waco, TX. Richardson will play at nearby Sam Houston State in Huntsville, TX for new head coach Jason Hooten. Nichols, a point guard, will play at Boise State University according to McLennan Community College assistant coach Larren Silver.

Richardson, a combo guard, started his college career at Paris Junior College. Richardson is a former player of the year in Delaware 2008. Richardson was voted NTJCAC Newcomer of the Year after averaging 14 ppg this season.
Nichols, 5-foot-10, played at Texas State University as a freshman before heading to Waco. Tre was a first team all conference and all region player this season while averaging 14.4 ppg. Nichols, a Killeen, TX native, scored 29 points in the regional semifinals vs Midland College.
Kenny Stewart only played one season at Weatherford College. Stewart signed yesterday with Eastern Michigan University according to Coyotes head coach Dave Donnally. Stewart recieved interest from Albany also before deciding on Eastern Michigan. Stewart prepped at Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg, MA before heading to Weatherford College last fall.
