Three signings come in from California

JucoJunction had a busy day in the state of California in picking up three signings on Tuesday. We have the latest on these signings in this story.

Reggie Lassiter, 6-foot-0 (185) from Bakersfield College, led the Renegades from the point guard position the past two seasons. Reggie will take his game to the Sun Belt Conference next season and play at Louisiana-Monroe according to Head coach Rich

Hughes. Lassiter a Washington DC native averaged 7.9 ppg, 5.8 assists and 2.6 steals this past season. Reggie shot 54.9% (106-193) from the floor.

Josh Crawford, (SO) 6-foot-11 (210) from Oxnard College, has signed with Indiana State University of the Missouri Valley Conference. Crawford played his freshman season at the University of Iowa before landing at Oxnard this past fall. Crawford averaged 14.5 ppg and 9.8 rebounds while swatting 118 blocked shots. Josh shot 50.8% (168-331) from the floor. Pepperdine and Arkansas Little Rock also showed strong

interest in Crawford this spring.

Tim Island, (SO) 6-foot-5 from Mount San Jacinto College, will play for the Aztecs of San Diego State next season. MSJC head coach Patrick Springer confirmed this signing yesterday. Island hails from San Diego, CA and played his freshman season at Long Beach State before landing at MSJC this season. Tim averaged 16.1 ppg and 6.3 rebounds this season for the Eagles. Island attended Redemption Christian Academy in Troy, NY after leaving high school.
