Three signings out of the Jayhawk

The Jayhawk Conference is no stranger to putting players into the Division One ranks and JucoJunction was able to get three more signings tonight from the conference. JucoJunction has the latest on which three players signed on the dotted line recently in this article.
Michael Tyler and Dernodo Eiland, both from Pratt Community College, have ended their recruitment this week according to Beavers head coach Trevor Rolfs.

"Mike Tyler is heading back home to play at UW-Milwaukee and Dernodo is heading off to Texas Christian University," said Rolfs.
Tyler, 6-foot-5, started his college career at Milwaukee Area Tech where he averaged a double-double. Tyler averaged 17.5 ppg and 11.9 rebounds this season while shooting 53.9% (208-386) from the floor.
"Mike is a mismatch guy in junior college, more of a 4-3 man, that can really finish inside the paint," said JucoJunction staff analyst Bret Swanson. Tyler visited Central Arkansas and Gardner Webb and received offers from both schools before deciding on the UWM Panthers.
Eiland, (SO) 6-foot-6 from Aurora, IL, played his freshman season at Kankakee Community College where he averaged 12.5 ppg and 5.8 rebounds for the Cavs.
"Dernodo is long and slender wing player that can knock down the midrange jumper," said Swanson.
Eiland averaged 13.4 ppg and 5.6 rebounds this season for the Beavers. Eiland will take his official visit to TCU this coming weekend and has already committed to the Horned Frogs according to coach Rolfs.
Devon McBride played this season at Hutchinson Community College. Devon signed today with the Bulldogs of South Carolina State University according to Bulldogs assistant coach Lorenzo Watkins. McBride, (SO) 6-foot-3, had signed in the fall with Arkansas-Little Rock but reopened his recruitment in spring after being released from his scholarship with the Trojans. McBride, a Richmond, VA native, prepped at Philadelphia Lutheran Christian under Darryl Schofield.
McBride averaged 14.8 ppg and 3.7 rebounds for the Blue Dragons this past season in just 19 games.
"Devon signed with the Bulldogs today," said Watkins.
