Three years to play

Winning a NJCAA National Championship can never hurt a player's chance of moving onto a four year school. One player who played in the NJCAA D1 Championship game will take his game to the Western Athletic Conference this fall. The College of Southern Idaho knocked off Midland College 72-64 in the championship game. The Golden Eagles now have there third player from this season moving onto D1 for next fall in Mitch Bruneel.

Bruneel will play at Utah State University next season. "I have committed to Utah State. I really enjoyed the environment and atmosphere of the school," said Bruneel.
Bruneel averaged 10 points and 5.2 rebounds per game this season for the Golden Eagles while shooting 47 percent (130-278) from the floor.
The Golden Eagles finished the season at 33-4 and now have three players signed onto D1 programs for next fall. Pierre Jackson (Baylor) and Kenny Buckner (Boise State) join Bruneel at the Division One level.
Bruneel will have three years to play for the Aggies.
