Tiger man

Trahson Burrell committed to Memphis after receiving interest from SMU, South Florida, Alabama, Arizona State, Washington, Oklahoma State, among others.
The 6-foot-7 wing picked Memphis and head coach Josh Pastner because he feels that he will be developed as a guard.

"Trahson liked the style of play that coach Pastner runs, and all the dynamics of the program," said Lee College's assistant coach Marcus King. "The focus on individual development was something that Trahson liked. He is a really good defender, and in the Memphis system, when you play defense, you get freedom on the offensive side of the game."
King says that the Tigers are getting a competitor that can play multiple positions and causes mismatch for his opponents.
Burrell joins Adam Ward from Lee to give a verbal commitment. Ward is headed to Arkansas State.
