Tigers guard headed to MVC
Mike Rodriguez will be playing next season at Southern Illinois University.
Rodriguez, a point guard at Marshalltown Community College, will have two seasons to play at SIU.

Rodriguez was a two year starter for the Tigers and received many accolades in his junior college career.
Rodriguez, a West Roxbury, MA native, played at Redemption Christian Academy before heading to junior college.
Rodriguez averaged 22.5 ppg, 6.1 assists and 4.3 rebounds this season while shooting 44% (225-514) from the floor. Rodriguez connected on 73% (230-314) from the foul line.
He finishes his career with 1,154 points in 58 games played.
