The Lamar State College - Port Arthur Seahawks have seen plenty of traffic come through doors in college coaches this fall according to assistant coach Chad Kish.
The Seahawks this season will rely on three sophomores this season in Tre Bennett, Jamal Shabazz and Anthony Allen.

Bennett, a point guard from Houston, TX will take a official visit to Indiana State University this weekend according to Kish. Bennett prepped at Charis Prep (NC) and Rise Academy (PA) after playing high school basketball at Yates High School in Houston.
Bennett averaged 8.8 ppg, 2.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists last season for the 21-11 Seahawks.
Shabazz, a combo forward, averaged 9.9 ppg and 8.7 rebounds while connecting on 53% (112-213) from the floor last season.
Shabazz has some desire to play out west according to coach Kish. CS Fullerton, CS Bakersfield, Pepperdine, Texas State, Northwestern State and Louisiana-Lafayette have expressed interest in Shabazz this fall. A few schools are trying to work him and Bennett together in a package deal.
