Time to move on

Anthony Banks and Marco Bourgault will move away from Monroe College and play at the NCAA D1 level next season. "Anthony will play at Longwood University and Marco is headed to St John's University," said Mustangs Head Coach Jeff Brustad.

Banks, a Roanoke, Vir. native, signed out of high school with Chattanooga before failing to qualify academically. Banks averaged 8 points and 5.8 rebounds this season for the 33-4 Mustangs.
Bourgault won't have to travel far next season to play for the Red Storm. The France native averaged 10.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per game this season.
