Titans top Pirates

The excitement of the first game didn't carry over right away for the Pensacola State College vs St Petersburg College yesterday. Both teams came out sluggish and St Petersburg College limped into the half with a 35-25 lead.
The Titans would keep the Panhandle Conference Pirates off there game today and would win the game 62-53.

Shaq Speights led the Titans with 18 points. The Titans improved to 8-6 on the season.
The Pirates fall to 5-6 on the season under head coach Pete Pena.
Freshman Harrison Curry led the way with 15 points. Sophomore Obi Romeo, a St Joseph's (PA) transfer, added 6 points and 18 rebounds in defeat.
The Pirates will play State College of Florida today in Day 2 action at the College of Central Florida in Ocala, FL.
