Top 100 prospect to Corpus Christi
Shamar Coombs hails from Toronto, Canada. Coombs has played the past few seasons at Tallahassee Community College in Florida. Coombs, a 6-foot-1 combo guard, will play at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi next season according to Head coach Eddie Barnes.
Coombs made second team All Panhandle Conference for the Eagles this past season.

"Shamar is a very skilled and polished guard," said Barnes.
Coombs averaged 15.1 ppg, 4.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists this past season for the Eagles.
Coombs visited Louisiana Tech and Corpus Christi before making a decision.
