Top prospect done with recruiting

Dustin Scott, (SO) 6-foo-8 (215) from Jamestown, SC has made it official. Dustin will be heading back to the Palmetto State to play his college basketball at the College of Charleston.
Scott, the Pre-Season Player of the Year, is going to play for coach Bobby Cremins and the Cougars next year.

"Dustin has done a lot of good things while being here at Tallahassee. He is such an unselfish and very determined person. Dustin has a great upside and is such a blue collar type of player," said head coach Eddie Barnes.
Dustin has quite the resume while at TCC. He has been an All Conference performer as a freshman and sophomore. This past season he was runner-up in the MVP voting for conference play. The 1st team All-Region performer this season also was National Player of the Week twice in his career once this season and once has a freshman last season.
Dustin averaged 13.9 ppg and 8.9 rebounds this season the Eagles. Dustin scored 890 points and grabbed 534 rebounds in his career at TCC over 65 games.
"The lefty has a chance to come in and play right away and make a big contribution to the team and gather local interest," said JucoJunction staff member Bret Swanson.
Scott attended Timberland High School in St Stephen,SC.
Dustin visited Virginia Commonwealth and South Florida back in the fall. He also received interest from Georgia, Clemson and Tennessee.
Scott's teammate, Andy Buechert, (SO) 6-foot-9 (228) from Germany, still has a decision to make. Andy played along Dustin the past two seasons at Tallahassee CC is setting up visits for the near future. Andy will be heading to Winthrop April 13-14. Central Florida and Belmont are also trying to line up visits for the future. Buechert was hurt for half the season this year and verballed early to UMASS. He reopened his recruitment after not signing in the fall with them.
