Legendary head coach Dan Sparks has a lot of talent this season on his roster at Wabash Valley College in Mount Carmel, Ill. JucoJunction takes a short look at just a few players and will look at the rest of the squad at a later date.

Nick Wiggins started his college career at Vincennes University after going to high school in Tallahassee, Fla. Wiggins averaged 16.7 points and 4 rebounds per game last season for VU while shooting 47 percent (162-343) from the floor. Wiggins told JucoJunction he has been offered a scholarship by Baylor University this fall.
Milwaukee, Wisc. native Jon Cathey-Macklin played last season in the Jayhawk Conference at Pratt Community College. Cathey-Macklin averaged 8.6 points, 8.3rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game last season for the Beavers. "Jon is a very bouncy athlete who is quite active on the floor if it's altering shots or defending the passing lanes on the defensive end," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Mike Samuels was a teammate of Wiggins at Vincennes University. The center from Bushkill, Penn. has received interest from Temple, Illinois State and Georgia State University this fall. Samuels averaged 2.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game last season.
