Wilkins, a Spartanburg, S.C. native, played his freshman season at USC-Salkehatchie in Walterboro, S.C. a few seasons back.
Wilkins, 23 years old and is a father of two kids, wanted to get back closer to home for next season. Wilkins told JucoJunction he will visit the Conway, S.C. campus October 22-24 weekend.
"Travis has a lot of talent he just hasn't played a lot over the years after not playing in high school. Wilkins nicknamed "Trap" is a great fit for the Chants," said JucoJunction Publisher Bret Swanson.
Wilkins will have two years play after leaving Missouri State-West Plains.
